Company Overview
TI Protective Coatings was formed in 1992, as the specialist industrial painting division of Taziker Industrial Ltd. Since the award our Provisional Contractor Assurance Case in July 2006, we have been continually employed, directly by Network Rail, across the entire infrastructure; with a large proportion of our high profile and public interface projects being carried out for the Network Rail Scotland territory.
With the expanding scope of our projects requiring us to sub-let more areas of our work, in 2007 TI Protective Coatings invested in Network Scaffolding, a national Link-Up approved access scaffolding contractor with whom we have worked closely with on structural refurbishment projects for over 10 years.
Currently we are the only contractor in the country certified to apply Protective Coatings to both Highways and Railways structures as a Principal Contractor through the NHSS 19A and Network Rail PCL schemes.
As of June 2008 both the Highways Agency and Network Rail introduced the requirement that all operatives carrying out corrosion protection work upon their infrastructure must be ICATS (Industrial Coatings Applicator Training Scheme) certified. We have 2 in house ICATS trainers, with an onsite workforce of 110 operatives; upwards of 90% of the Industrial Painting division are both PTS and ICATS trained.
We believe we are ideally suited to provide a competitive package of Scaffolding, Encapsulation, Surface Preparation and Painting works which surpasses all competitors in terms of deliverable and measurable health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
